So yeah, after listening to more of the early versions of songs and songs that didn't make the album, I'm definitely inclined to say this album should have been some changes to it. Will the Future Blame Us sounded great as Don't Ask Why (with how it went from really heavy to a light piano and guitar chorus that evolved into it's bridge). I liked the early version of Boy. Not Afraid (especially earlier versions) was good enough to make the album, the samples of Vampires are amazing, and I really love Talk Is Cheap, Kiss on the Mouth, and Better Than Here. Either change Where Are You back to Best Day of Your Life or scratch it off, take off Don't Stop, then take off Walking in Circles (although I'm one of the few who gets some enjoyment from it). Now I just need OLP to release Hit the Wall, Enemy, End of the World, Weight of the Lord, and Save Yourself (along with official studio versions of unreleased tracks) to make decisions on those. *hint hint OLP*

I'm a big fan of this album... But when listening I can't help but think of how much better it could and should have been. Walking in Circles had more potential, Where Are You probably should have stayed Best Day of Your Life, and Will the Future Blame Us sounded awesome as Don't Ask Why. Tons of awesome songs ended up not even making it even though they probably should have: one of the versions of Not Afraid, Talk is Cheap, Kiss on the Mouth, Better Than Here, Hit the Wall (the drum sample makes it seem like more of an aggressive song), Vampires, and possibly No Warning... Not to mention the other songs that fans haven't heard anything from or even the names of. It didn't quite live up to it's potential, but it's still a pretty good album nonetheless.

I don't get why this album gets so much grief. It's ridiculously better than Gravity. While it's not on the same level as OLP's Core Four, it's still pretty damn fantastic.
