Ōtomo Yoshihide (大友良英), born August 1, 1959 in Yokohama, Japan, is an experimental musician, a turntablist and guitarist.   • I love how in the "Amplified Gesture" documentary Otomo shyly confesses that he started playing the guitar just because he wanted to get a girlfriend. Later he even calls the guitar something like a girlfriend (it seems his original motivation did no reach its goal, haha )! What a genius.
