I love how in the "Amplified Gesture" documentary Otomo shyly confesses that he started playing the guitar just because he wanted to get a girlfriend. Later he even calls the guitar something like a girlfriend (it seems his original motivation did no reach its goal, haha )! What a genius.

I just wish he'd release more albums. He only released 300 last year, down from his usual 1,000. Come on, slow poke! Your fans are WAITING!

Everyone should check out the Prisoner OST he did. Each track is like chaos wrapped in flower pedals that get burned right off to see the hell that lays under. Crazy shit.

Apparently he had a track on a japanese improv music compilation that was released this year not too long ago, so I think he is. Usually when looking for news on him I don't find much, unfortunately.
