The Opera Babes are a classical music group consisting of Karen England (born 1974), Mezzo Soprano, and Rebecca Knight (born 1970), Soprano. They started their career busking on London’s famous Covent Garden. They were spotted by a Sony exec and their rise to fame started. They are famous for singing “One Fine Day” (“Un bel dì” from the opera Madame Butterfly), the song that ITV used for their World Cup 2002 programmes. They have released one album, “Beyond Imagination” in January 14, 2003.

Both women have also performed with the English touring company, Opera della Luna. Knight’s mother is the singer Gillian Knight.
