Biography

Ola Magnell, born 20/1 1946 at Skälby gård, Kalmar, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and guitarist.

Magnell is often considered to belong to the Swedish progg-movement even if he often problemized their political idéas.
He also had his music labeled at Metronome, for whitch he was very criticized for by the progg-movement.
Magnell’s lyrics was too not enough “plakatpolitiska”, as expected by the musical movements leaders.
