It saddens me that this has so few listeners. It's my favourite of theirs and has arguably some of their best tracks ever.

I think this one is arguably the most upbeat, so maybe you just prefer their softer, more downbeat moments. I love it though, it's become my favourite, which is interesting because its the last that I've gotten into. But I sorta feel the same way about Don't Fall In Love.

This is my least favorite (not counting Stars Too Small) but I really love "Seas Too Far Too Reach." It's always seemed weird to me how popular this album is, but I guess I just don't get it. Chalk it up to a difference of tastes.

The pacing on this album is incredible. "For the Enemy" flows so smoothly into "Blanket and Crib". This is OR's most beautiful, underrated album. Here's hoping they abandon the "real world" theme of the last 2 albums and try something more like this again.

I started on the stage names. I thought it was a nice record from a decent band. This album changed my mnd though, it really blew me away. Its just... wonderful

perfect album. "the velocity of saul at the time of his conversation" and "maine island lovers" are two masterpieces.

This is undoubtedly their best album. Also, if any one would ever care to discuss the awesome dichotomy/gradual build up both musically and lyrically in "The War Criminal...", let me know. I never get this way about music. I think it border on pretension, but I was listening to that song on a quiet train ride home one evening and it struck me as one of their most poignant and beautiful. Okay, jeez, I'm shutting up now.

The velocity of saul at the time of his conversion is probably their most underrated song besides Black. Black can never be praised enough.
