    @Pizza: Where I first hears this song was through a friend putting together a mixtape for a character we both liked writing. Said character had his life fall apart, his body reshaped with massive cyberware, and put in charge of some VERY dangerous people. He has all this on his shoulders - and fighting for his life and those he commands is "just another day." While he appears to manage it, it's clear that the poor fellow is falling apart at the seams.

    As much as I rabidly love EVERYTHING Boingo, something about Danny's voice on this one really gets to me — in a special way that I find it impossible to define clearly. [/me scrolls down a bit] Oh, whoops. I already said something to that extent four months ago. Oh, well. It's so true that saying it again makes sense. I guess. ... Y'know what? I don't really know for sure; it's very, VERY early for me as I'm jotting this down, and I have yet to have had any caffeine of any kind, so my thinkingness isn't yet too goodly.

    Song like this make me wonder why Burton didn't just cast Elfman as the Joker and call it good. (Ghu knows Elfman looked gleefully demonic enough to pull it) Jack Nicholson is a fine actor, but lacked the insane mania...

    God, his voice is so ridiculously beautiful here. I could listen to this song LITERALLY forever — the more I listen to it, the more I NEED to listen to it. It's the musical equivalent of Pringles — once I pop, I can't stop.
