Biography

Oh My God is a Chicago based band formed in late ‘99. Members Billy O’Neill (vocals/bass) and Ig (organ/vocals), along with newcomers Dathan DeVore (drums) and Anthony Gravino (guitar/vocals) are an utterly unique organ-bass-drums trio who unleash captivating tones and razor-sharp hooks in song after striking song. Their releases include a self-titled EP (2000) and the albums “Well” (2001), “The Action Album” (2002), “Interrogations & Confessions” (2003), You’re Too Straight to Love Me” (2004), “Fools Want Noise” (2007), and “The Night Undoes The Work Of The Day” (2009) .

    I heard about these guys from a friend in Michigan, who just saw them at a show with only 30 people there (!!!). I can't believe these guys aren't selling out stadiums, their sound is quite incredibly varied and exhilarating.

    Saw them at Summerfest on July 4th with Wearshades. Very unique. Stage presence was awesome. They are most certainly one of the few new bands worth checking out. Seeing them again on the 29th at the Wicker Park fest. It should be a fantastic show
