Ogre You Asshole is a Japanese post-punk band. Ogre You Asshole is Manabu Deto (guitar, vocal), Kei Mabuchi (guitar), and Takashi Katsuura (drums). They take their influences from Modest Mouse, Built To Spill, Fugazi, Gang Of Four, Talking Heads, Pinback and Television.
Bassist Norihito Hiraide left the band in 2011. His final performance with the group was at Rock in Japan 2011.

They've done lots of good songs before, but as an album, Homely is pretty different and I think it's their best one overall so far -- definitely much more expansive and ambitious in terms of song-writing than anything else they've done before, and it plays out without any fillers.
