Finland
October Falls was formed in 2001 in Finland and recorded the first demos later at the same year, although that demo was sent only to a few individuals.
After the recordings and a small break, new music was composed and the whole material slowly turned from melodic dark metal to all acoustic, that later was released as a part of October Falls “Tuoni”. After releasing another album in the vein of “Tuoni”, the style changed to folk based black metal with the EP “The Streams of the End”.
The current releases are the EP “Sarastus”, another all acoustic neofolk work, and “The Womb of Primordial Nature”, a folk black metal album following the emotional feeling pioneered by bands like Ulver in their early years…

So I finally cave in and among the un-official pages, there's now an official OF-page in Facebook. I can't see the address atm, but it can be found as October Falls (official). I'll update it whenever there's something to write about, we'll start recordings in 5-6 weeks, so at least then there will be some updates.
