Way better than all these weak ass occult rock bands, if you can even lump Occultation in with them.

Second album is absurdly, stupidly, outrageously good.

Silence in the Ancestral House is killer. A big improvement over Three & Seven. This is the Negative Plane-ish doom I crave.

The first record didn't catch me but this new one is pretty good.

Can't agree, this definitely beats The Devil's Blood.

Will check the new album but with Three & Seven is a long way from 'apex of the occult rock scene', The Devil's Blood had so much more to them than these. I'd rather have songs than angular riffs which you can keep in NP.

Negative Plane riffs combined with this angelic voice - superb stuff.

Pretty much the apex of the whole "occult rock" scene [3]

@ NVKLR No thats for Ghost. This is more suitable for something like Jekyll and Hyde.

I find the production from 3 & 7 too polished. It s oviously missing... heavyness. But some brillant ideas indeed. I'm curious to see them live.

I love the Negative Plane riffs, they definitely pull off the riffs better than Ghost or The Devil's shit. I can live with these guys

I'll give them anothre chance before I dig out the Coven records again. <------- This doesn't sound even slightly like Coven, and clearly isn't intended to.
