Oblate Spheriod originally formed with Jamie Simkin on Guitar/vocals and George Grant on dums in 2009. They are a Progressive Metal band withdifferent influences in there songs ranging from extreme metal to prog rock to jazz.
If you really want to know what are band name means here’s some shit from Wikipedia… An oblate spheroid is a rotationally symmetric ellipsoid having a polar axis shorter than the diameter of the equatorial circle whose plane bisects it.
