Biography
(2) Berlin/Copenhagen-based electro punk pop duo Nuclear Family formed in 2005 as part of the Copenhagen queer art collective dunst.
Members Nikolaj Tange Lange and Andreas Tange Lange started their career together by marrying at the townhall in Copenhagen. Since then they have played shows all across Europe. Usually splashing around in ketchup or stage blood, starting in pecualiar costumes ending up half naked.
Nuclear Family have songs released by Copenhagen label Broken Mirror Records and Scream Club’s label Crunks Not Dead.
In 2008 they released their debut album, and the second album “FUCK MY HE ART” was released in 2010.

(3) The Hip-Hop formation Nuclear Family started in 2001 after the groups “3e Kamer” (MC’s KI & Vecsy.D and producer B-ski) and “Pickpockets” (MC Ahab and producer Tommy2Times) merged to release their first album in 2002; “3e Kamer & Pickpockets Present Nuclear Family”. Which was meant to be a one-time project for the two Hip-Hop groups grew out to be a smashing debut album of the Nuclear Family.
The formation from The Hague got famous for their mixture of the Dutch and English language, but also got criticized by labels and radio stations for the same reason.
After internal struggle the formation was forced to change line-up and made their fans wait for over 2,5 years to release the follow-up album in 2005; “Nuclear Fission/Kernsplitsing”.

wish i knew more about this band (the one that is all punky and awesome), i found it looking up the band name because it sounded cool and was curious if a band with this name existed, and god damn, they are awesome.
