Nothing More

There are at least two bands called Nothing More.

1) rock band from San Antonio, TX, USA
2) punk band from Maisons-Alfort, Ile-de-France in France

1) If there are two words that best describe Nothing More, they are innovation and evolution. There is no better example of this than Nothing More’s newly released fourth album (self titled) and the dynamic show they are building around it. They’ve set the highest bar possible for the album and vow to eclipse that, at every outing with the live show.

From their humble beginnings in Texas, Nothing More answered the call to serve in the militia of independent touring artists. Armed with the idea that it takes brains and balls to create your destiny in this world, these young men climbed aboard a vintage RV, salvaged from a field and set sail. Now, a few short years later and with three full-length albums and over 500 live shows under their belts, they have mastered the DIY philosophy in every imaginable way, all the while never forgetting to put their fans first.

“Before we had even started touring we knew that we wanted to do more than just play our songs. We wanted to entertain and really connect with people in a unique way.” – Jonny Hawkins

Nothing More don’t take the stage, they storm it. Alternating between enormous rock anthems full of technical precision and four man percussion assaults that have more in common with the Blue Man Group, than a rock show. There is nothing pedestrian about this band.

They slightly fit that Fair to Midland shaped hole in my heart, and I guess that'll have to do until FtM (hopefully) get back together. These guys do have some very catchy and great songs though.

The man speaking is the philosopher, named, Alan Watts. He was baptized Anglican and became an Episcopalian priest. He eventually became a Buddhist.

Man, I don't know what to make of this band. They're awesome and generic simultaneously. I think a lot of it has to do with the lyrics.

Yeah... I hear the Fair to Midland-vibe... only I don't think they're even CLOSE to as good honestly

Looks like they are finally getting some exposure. Took the world long enough to notice their potential. Since Fair To Midland are no more, it's up to them to carry the alt-prog flag

Know these guys from San Antonio. Very cool dudes, the singer Jonny was in my school district on a rival drumline. Lot of respect to these folks.
