Not tonight Josephine – All That She Wants
Biography
Not Tonight Josephine is an alternative modern rock band from Tampa, FL formed in December of 2008. The band is comprised of vocalist David Easlick; guitarists Jake Moore and Adam Aungst; bassist Evan Foley; and drummer Randy Ayers.
Since the release of their debut EP, This Orphan Heart, and being named “Tampa, FL’s Most Buzz-worthy Rock Band” by Creative Loafing in the fall of 2009, Not Tonight Josephine have quickly raised their status in rock’s up-and-coming scene. Performing along the way with acts such as Anberlin, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Sick Puppies, Framing Hanley, A Day to Remember, and Drowning Pool, 2010 saw the band selected for a main stage performance at the Florida Music Festival, shooting a series of webisodes for Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream, and nailing down a much-coveted slot on 97X’s annual Next Big Thing concert event.
2011 has now seen the band watch YouTube videos of their “All That She Wants” cover reach views topping 125,000; release their first full length album, All On The Horizon (produced by Brett Hestla [Creed, Dark New Day, Framing Hanley]); and complete two independent East Coast/Midwest tours with appearances at the Rockapalooza and Minerva music festivals with 10 Years, All That Remains, Underoath, Crossfade, Chiodos, Hawthorne Heights and more.
The new record, which released in April and builds upon the EP’s pop-informed modern rock with more mature songwriting and a slightly darker bent, has been extremely well received by old fans and new.
