Norton - New Single
Two Points

“Two Points” first seconds reveal the way Norton crafted their upcoming record.
Contagious beat, guitars swinging round your ears, the keyboards’ warm sounds building up melodies that keep coming back, a growing excitement which bursts in one of those chorus lines, leaving you in an out of control sing-a-long.
In three words, the first take from “Layers of Love United” is the “perfect pop song”. Three minutes of everything Norton were, are and want to be in 2011: a band made of songs.

The tiny electronic bits, wrapped in landscapes and harmonic vocals are there, just like the noise turned into rhythmic textures, which is one of Norton’s trademarks. But there’s also a new direction, new intentions.
“Two Points” reflects it. A band wanting to make you dance, wanting to make you sing, wanting you to take home something that connects with your life, places and friends. To moments when you pick up an air guitar, take hold of the dance floor (which can well be your own living room) and sing loudly… with eyes closed.
