Saw these guys in Leeds supporting Bob Mould, very good! Will be checking out their albums.

Only just, to my shame, found out they had a new album out! Absolutely loved Grappling Hooks and on first listen I really like Fog Electric too. I can tell it's going to be a grower. Fantastic band!

"This expansive trudge will either surround you for its runtime, or have you seeking more dangerous thrills", from a BBC review. I found myself really, really enjoying it, but I agree

It's hard to decide, but I think overall I like Fog Electric more. That said, I still find something incredibly catchy about Cell Count.

Fog Electric is much better than Grappling Hooks. Fog Electric is still the best K-Scope release of the year in my opinion.

Desperately trying to like them (not least because they've got a fantastic band name) but finding Fog Electric a bit hit and miss.

So far I am much more a fan of "Grappling Hooks" than "Fog Electric", but I suspect I'll have to give it a few more listens to let it sink in.

For some reason the download of Expert With Altimeter got screwed up when I downloaded it on iTunes. Listening to it for the first time now and wow, what a song. Now I think I can call Fog Electric the album of the year (so far) after hearing that song.
