Timisoara, Romania (2010 – present)

A sound from beneath the earth and above the sky. The black rumble of tectonic tremors resonating with magmatic palpitations. Cosmic noise entwined with the wails of ever-falling blisters of white hot fire. A burst of incandescent colors.

We are hear to worship sound. We are here to influence your psyche. WE ARE HERE TO MAKE SOME NOISE!

Formed late 2010, in Timisoara, Romania, Nomega strives to play a heavy blend of stoner, sludge and psychedelic rock, well seasoned with hypnotic sounds and noise. Straying from the well-paved path that many musicians take, the bands approach to music is one less focused on structure and composition, but more on improvisation. Live sets are never the same, as songs take different form depending on surroundings, mood and audience.

While the original line-up only consisted of Sebas on drums and Zan on bass, they soon opened arms to the band’s first guitarist, Darius, who added a great deal to the atmosphere with his insanely spontaneous tunes and haunting drones. Not long after, George was welcomed aboard, and with his heavy riffs, Nomega’s sound became more focused, chiseled and complex, leading to a very strong band chemistry.

Darius Mihai Lazurean: guitars/effects
George Stoica: guitars/words
Razvan Lazea-Postelnicu: bass
Sebastian Iosif Baltean : drums/percussion
Additional Keyboards: Sol Faur
