Noiseprint’s landscape - a stunning combination of lyrical melodies and emotive soundtracks; an electro-asiatic take on 21st century hopes and fears; a sparse musical melancholia sitting side by side with more urgent and fuller orchestrations. No matter how you choose to describe the multi-talented partnership, the music demands that space be cleared on the overcrowded mantelpiece of electronica for this new outfit.
In their present incarnation of Noiseprint, Jamie Dale and Aidan Neeson are pursuing a musical relationship that started when they met while studying Music Production. Throughout their 6-year friendship, despite travels abroad and different projects of their own, their desire to create music that reflects their own particular tastes and inspirations, has remained undiminished. Finally they are able to prove that the wait was worth it.
Combining their talents with violinist Alanah Hunt, they have a sound that is both evocative and novel. Aidan’s work within film scoring, Jamie’s incredibly successful VJ work and the stirring art work created by the trio have resulted in a compelling auteur approach to the music and design of Noiseprint which blends passion with beauty, sincerity with accomplishment.
Their world is a magical one, populated by the echoes of Asian strings, 80’s video games and film noir. Noiseprint marries beautiful music with aching lyrics to create a heartfelt sound, which cannot fail to move the listener.
