NO OUTLET REFERS TO FIVE DIFFERENT BANDS:
1) A Hardcore band from Fort Worth, TX who released their first demo in the summer of 2012. Despite the separation during college, the band continues to work to make an imprint on the Dallas hardcore scene. They recently released their first EP, Withdrawn in February of 2013.
2) Late 80s Straight Edge Hardcore from Albany NY
3) A rock band from Philadelphia who formed in the summer of 2002. In the summer of 2009, No Outlet finished recording and released their debut EP, City Walls, which is now available in most digital music stores. Though at separate colleges across the country, No Outlet continues to perform and write new material and is currently working on the bands first full-length album. "It's been a nasty trend since high school, and on it goes."
4)From their conception in 1999 to the present, No Outlet has given endless hours to studying different styles of music to create their own original sound. Not quite heavy but never too light, this band from just outside of Philadelphia applies their learned fundamentals to break away from traditional, patterned songs. Mark Schaffer, David Seewagen, Steven Hayes, and Anthony Fossile are four diverse people who center their lives around putting their creative input into the band and their dedication and perseverance shows through their music. With a sound that is comparable to bands such as Travis, Saves the Day, and even the Beatles, they have gainedmuch respect from audiences with varying musical tastes. No Outlet is known for their apparent musicianship, versatile sound, and accurate and entertaining live performance. In addition to playing, they also have knowledge in the area of recording having engineered their first promotional EP on their own. Collectively having seven years worth of time together has given them the ability to learn to use their outside comprehension of music to write and produce material to distribute to the listeners. Their experience with crowds, whether it be a local VFW or places such as The Crocodile Rock in Allentown, contribute largely to the direction that they take to further bring them along in their career as a band. Making music is a passion that clearly these musicians all possess and with time, they will continue to give their lives to what they love most.
5) A Ska band from Plano, TX who have been making a staple in the local DFW scene and the surrounding major cities in Texas for many years, who are continuing to write and perform music even through their college lives who are sure to make a big splash in the ska world for years to come.
