I never understood the hype about Nirvana but I like some of their tracks.

Always loved this compilation although it was so overlooked and underrated if you wish, features some 'deep cuts' and showcases the diversity of this great band. I sums up very well the roots where they came from, shows various attributes of the band: melodic, experimental, new wave, punk, metal even. One of my favorite compilations ever.

always wish they would have recorded a studio album in the style of some of these songs. more poppy and less sludgy than bleach but with the more experimental song structures and rawness of production. which i know sounds like in utero, but not quite [3]

it would've been a lot better if "Talk to me", "Oh the guilt", "Pen cap chew", "Even In His Youth", "D-7" and "Spank Thru" were included instead of numbers 4-8

I don't know all that much about the Nirvana fanbase, but something tells me this is that one unfortunately overlooked album. Love the energy on this one!
