Her skin was darker than ashes
And she had something to say
Bout being naked to the elements
At the end of yet another day

What a rare, magical, resonant voice, I'm ALWAYS amazed and mesmerized by him. Then add the lyrics and the sparse, delicate notes and tones called 'music' . . . absolute perfection

when you look back at where Mr Sylvian started (Adolescent Sex and Obscure Alternatives) and progressed through to (Tin Drum), this is in my opinion as far removed musically as you can get. But thats the point here, fantastic lyrics from a fantastic lyricist and musician. I never tire of listening to all of his catalogue of music. Keep it up
