Great piece, but this recording has no bass.

I know this is a chopped up version, but in this format it works. There are other places to hear any or all of this wonderful work, by which ever symphony you like.

This is not my first listen to Rimsky-Korsakov whatever last.fm say. What do they know? I listen to him over tea every afternoon. Can't understand a word he says. Must learn Russian.

Not noticed before but this is really taken at a gallopping pace isn't it? Oh, and I agree with Tom below.......more Rimsky-Korsakov please.

You've listened to Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov 29 times before and Scheherazade 29 times before. - C'om on last.fm he did way more than that. How about playing Capriccio espagnol op. 34, or the May Night Overture. Mix it up baby!

Agree with Tom_Pullings on both counts. And, Rimsky did do some Russian film scores way back when.

Audio recording here on last.fm does not do this piece justice. Or maybe it's my wimpy computer speakers. Still awesome.
