sorry but I had to say all of this. Every once in a while I'll listen to Under The Bridges and these 8 minutes will be magic. I had to try to describe that somewhere!! And yes I think this song is underrated. I'm thinking either because of its length or some people just don't get how immense the second part is.
This song is perfection. That second half was a bit noisy at first but it's truly a masterpiece in terms of production. Everything they and producer Elof Loelv have thrown into it, just come together in an epic beyond description sonic journey. It's meltdown, explosion, fusion, all to go to a high. The bass underneath the surface that uncovers the light. It's just such a wonderful musical experience. So dark, gothic sonically, and there's no where else we'd want to be, it's perfect and better be on the album!
