Один из лучших сонграйтеров. Но после ухода Бликсы и Харви звучание группы не особо впечатляет.

Could anyone let me know if they've been selling tour art at the recent shows? And if so, at what price was each print selling?

The Boatsman's Call and Lyre have some of his best writing, what are you guys listening to? Listen to The Birthday Party or any of the Bad Seeds' pre-The Good Son albums @Coufik.

I'd say listen to "weeping song" last, there are so much more interesting songs by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds than that boring song (also counts for "Into my Arms").

Huggkruka, There's a song on 12 Rounds' "My Big Hero", released on Nothing Records that uses "Red Right Hand" samples. "Where Fools Go" I think. That was Atticus Ross's earlier band. Hope that scratches your itch some.

We No Who U R is most played on here and definitely one of my favourites. I've written a piece about it: http://inhersolitude.wordpress.com/2014/04/19/we-no-who-u-r-nick-cave-the-bad-seeds/

So, does anyone know if there are any collabs, mashups or similar of Nick Cave's work and Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails? I have an idea that it would work quite well, but searching has given me nothing. Anyone?

Well I started with "The Firstborn Is Dead" and it seemed a good decision. Needed a little bit time to grow but it did. Good stuff. I usually start with the early stuff when checking out artists / bands that were or are long active.

Listen to the Good Son first.

    March 2014
  • antigonii

@Porterhouse57: In my opinion, you should check out his earliest albums, such as "Your Funeral, My Trial","Tender Prey", and "The Good Son". Except those, listen to "Let Love In" and "No more shall we part" too. The first one is a classic album and the second one is awesome and one of his best. Sorry for my bad English. xD

I've never really listened to Nick Cave before. I often see him compared to Tom Waits and Scott Walker, and I love the experimental tendencies of both of those artists. Which of his albums should I check out first?

    March 2014
  • impronen

WS9167: Yeah, that happens too. And what Rezzo64 said is also good point. And as far as my things go, Let Love In is not probably even in my top-5 of most listened Bad Seeds albums. Not that its not good, it is but some others are even better. So it goes.

The reason why it has more listeners than Let Love In is because the charts keep on rotating between "Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds", and "Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds". If you go to that page, you'll see that Let Love In has a lot more listeners

    February 2014
  • WS9167

@impronen: a lot of the time, I find it the other way. Some bands that have one really well known album often have most of their listeners on that album, and there's barely any interest at their newer work. Well, it's logical, but quite sad.

    February 2014
  • impronen

Kind of nature of the service that bands that are still active and have been releasing albums after last.fm has launched have more listeners on the newer albums.

Push the Sky Away is fantastic, but does anyone else find it funny that it has more listeners than Let Love In?

    February 2014
  • RSt123

As it can be seen on the later album covers the band uses the spelling Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds . So I think this spelling is fine for me.
