Nhor is a one-man project from Herefordshire, Midlands (UK). Nhor’s music is very difficult to describe, it floats from ambient, neofolk, to doom-laden black metal.

“These are songs I have written, inspired by black metal. Only listen to them in the dead of night with your eyes closed, alone & with patience.”

The mention of Deafheaven on this page has made me feel violently ill. Thanks.

I love both the pure ambient/piano releases and the new black metallish approach. [3] Очень красиво и атмосферно.

Just love "WTDBTS". Its atmosphere is so fragile and weightless... magic!

The fact this brilliant ARTIST gets shit for attention whereas fake, media fabricated bands like Deafheaven are all the rage speaks volumes about the intellect & integrity of music fans. (2)

Чёрт возьми! Почему я не узнал об этой группе раньше?! Это восхитительно! I love both the pure ambient/piano releases and the new black metallish approach. [2]

The album and compilation book release are both gems and the guy is a genius, indeed. The fact this brilliant ARTIST gets shit for attention whereas fake, media fabricated bands like Deafheaven are all the rage speaks volumes about the intellect & integrity of music fans. Maybe that's a good thing though. Better to have a few genuine people humping your leg than thousands of mindless apes who base their listening choices on what Pitchfork tells them.

Spotify has managed to tag the entire 'Towards a Light That Dwells Within the Trees' compilation correctly for a change. Just so you know.
