NeversmileBiography
Neversmile was an alternative rock and emocore band hailing from Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. The band was formed in fall of 2004. They cited their influences from other bands such as Glassjaw, The Used, Deftones, Head Automatica, Underoath and some other American pop punk and metal bands. Experimenting with all these styles Neversmile also payed a lot of attention to pop hooks and catchy melodies.
The band’s self-titled debut album was released in 2006. In 2009, they announced an indefinite hiatus. Since then, its members dedicated to partaking in other bands, such as Зимавсегда and The Grand Astoria.
Neversmile had tours with the best Russian alternative bands, such as Amatory, Jane Air, Tracktor Bowling, 7 Раса, Breakwar, they have played on the biggest open-air festivals and TV shows.
