There are several bands, acts and projects called ‘Nest’ - starting with the most popular (according to Last FM statistics)
1) Nest (no/uk): Otto Totland (also of Deaf Center (Type Records)) and Huw Roberts (Serein) compose and play piano-based ambient, contemporary classical, electronica music.
2) Nest (fi): Finnish musicians A. Tolonen and T. Saxell (currently pictured) play naturewave - atmospheric acoustic & ambient music - heavily utilizing traditional Finnish instruments, especially the kantele and Lapland drums.
3) Nest (ch), a band from Switzerland
4) Nest (us), an alternative/rock band from Los Angeles
5) Nest (ro) Solo musician Stefan Neagu from Oneşti, Romania playing mainly electronica/ambient and various cover songs.
1) Nest (no/uk) is the collaborative project of Otto Totland (Deaf Center / Type Records) and Huw Roberts (Serein). The two started working together after forging a strong friendship as former members of the Miasmah label.
Both pianists, there is little wonder that after exploring a plethora of musical styles, the two find themselves most at home writing traditionally structured pieces, with the ivories a major element throughout. Their music demonstrates clearly the innate ability the two have for song writing, borrowing from the world of film soundtracks and contemporary classical composers to craft delicate instrumental compositions.

Both of these artists are great. Finnish (kantele) Nest sometimes strikes me as childish, but genuine. The album Retold has slowly worked its way into one of my most played recently. Both bands have the knack of touching the spirit, and I venture to think the name Nest is very fitting for both.
