About this album

The Spirit Indestructible is the fifth studio album released by Canadian singer Nelly Furtado. Furtado announced via her official Twitter that the album would be released on June 19, 2012,in the US however, the release date is pushed back to September 10, 2012, Worldwide.
Furtado has been confirmed as the executive producer for The Spirit Indestructible, as well as a principal writer. Further production on The Spirit Indestructible comes from the likes of Darkchild, Salaam Remi, Mike Angelakos, Bob Rock, Fraser T. Smith, Di Genius, The Demolition Crew, John Shanks and Tiesto.The lead single from The Spirit Indestructible, “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)”, was released digitally on April 17, 2012.

    The Spirit Indestructible was really promising and underrated. I feel like the title track or Parking Lot should have been made the lead single, not Big Hoops which totally pales in its charms in comparison. It might have made things different.

    v Because of the dreadful lead single and the nice, but not single-material 2nd single. I think things would've turned out differently if she made Waiting for the Night and Parking Lot the first two singles. Big Hoops shouldn't even exist imho.
