Neko has put out consistently great music since Blacklisted. Oftentimes even better than Blacklisted. But I believe this song is special. It's the best she has done, and possibly ever will do. Nothing seems to come close to it, no matter how brilliant.

"does your soul cast about like an old paper bag past empty lots and early graves?" haunting.

I'll always love this song. Grateful for the day I walked into that super hippie shop years ago and heard it playing overhead.

By far her best song. Very disappointed she didn't play it when I saw her live at Primavera Sound.

I think these lyrics are reflections of living in the area of where the Green River murderer was killing prostitutes. Though at the time when she went to school in the area, She didn't know those killed were prostitutes.

Fantastic song, One of my favorites by Neko Case. Amazing lyrics too... "It looks a lot like engine oil and tastes like being poor and small and popsicles in the summer"
