Send Ringtones to Cell

Two out of work models and a fashion slave
Try to dance away the Piccolo night
The bartender poured herself another drink
While two drunks were watchin' the fight

Listening to this song is like watching a movie like Children of Men, There Will Be Blood or The Godfather. These movies are incredibly dramatic, heavy as fuck and create worlds that you can just get lost in. Even though this song sounds incredibly repetitive at first, give it some time. You'll get lost in this song as well.

I mean, honestly, holy shit! What a performance. The horns are stunningly perfect, Neil's two lines of vocals hair-raisingly expressive, the drums & guitars propelling you right to the stars... and hey, the keyboards are awesome too! Nothing wrong with some '80s synth tastefully applied. Oh, and let me not forget that epic, upfront, thundering bassline, and Neil's insane lead solos... shit. What a masterpiece. Dammit, Neil.

The only version I've heard so far is on a 1988 bootleg with the Bluenotes. That version is 12:49 and I loved every minute of it. So, now I'm even more stoked on the 18 minute one.

This song had been playing for 11 minutes and 28 seconds before I realised it had been playing for 11 minutes and 28 seconds. Which is a good thing.
