Sounds like a misunderstanding. They made great songs, but this one does not belong to it. Prisoners of scheme, nothing authentical in that.

raggleman-talk about a failed experiment-try "Trans"-although i really liked it, it was a bit outside the envelope for neil- i remember i was in so. cal at the time it came out and saw CSN at the time and neil was in town and the rumour was of a big reunion(didnt happen). he was obviously going somewhere else musically.

......actually, listened to Landing On Water yesterday. Not a good album but lyrically very interesting and the combination of syn-drums and muffled grunge guitar is like nothing else I've ever heard. Failed experiment maybe. Now, where's that copy of Re-ac-tor.

Excellent song that signalled a gradual creative rebirth for Neil after an all time low with Landing On Water.

Neil is beyond genre classification. He can strum with the folkies, twang with the country crowd, and bash it out with the punks. I love the guy.
