Neil Shah (born on May 23, 1979) is a pianist and singer-songwriter based in New York City. Shah’s voice, songs and style are heavily influenced by classic songwriters from the 60s and 70s, as well modern pop, rock, and jazz artists. While he uses piano as his main instrument, he frequently performs other instruments in his recordings including guitar, trumpet, percussion, and violin.
In 2009 Shah began releasing recorded singles from his vast collection of songs. In addition toYoung Forever, Angel, and Frost, several additional songs and a full-length LP are slated for release.
Shah began taking classical piano lessons at the age of 4, and has completed Bachelor and Master degrees music. He now works professionally for various music studios, with credits including keyboard and production work for several major label artists (Estelle, Lauren Hill, Simon Spire), as well as television shows, commercials and features films. He performs and tours regularly as a sideman (Charles Evans, Mostly Other People Do The Killing) and as a solo artist.
