"Anhedonia" mixes the aesthetics of lo-fi indie/60s pop with Americana or roots rock. It has quite accurately been called "freaked-out Americana." Catchy melodies and lyrics full of raw, poetic imagery are supported by layer upon layer of mellotrons, strings, B3s, horns, synths, lap steels, and even harmonica. The result is something unique.
