I like this a lot. There is a 'slits' influence there but thats a good thing. The underground music scene in NYC and UK in the late 70's is fertile fucking ground for new artists to pull ideas from, make it their own and at the same time show respect to those musicians that came before them, musicians that had rocks thrown at them because they hated REO Speeedwagon. I am glad someone referred me to this page. Who ever it was thank you.

The person below me is talking fucking bollocks. Joy Division, Pere Ubu, The Fall, Gang Of Four, Wire - the great post-punk bands; all male. It does sound quite like the Slits, but without the complexity, or the harmonies. I guess you already know that. The Slits incorporated unique sounds, dub etc., into their own music, S-K were much tighter. Find a unique style, and roll with it.
