Birmingham, England (1981 – present)

Napalm Death is a / band from Birmingham, England. The band was formed in the village of Meriden near Birmingham, England in 1981 by Nicholas Bullen and Miles Ratledge.

Although other groups had previously played fast and aggressive music, Napalm Death is credited with defining the Grindcore genre through its fusion of punk and metal musical structures, aggressive playing, fast tempos, and deep guttural vocals. The group coined the term ‘Grind’ to describe the music they played in reference to the sound of American group Swans.

There are no original members left in the band: indeed, the early history of the band is one of constant member rotation - by the second side of its debut album “Scum” in 1987, the band did not contain any original members.

Napalm Death have released 13 albums to date, the latest being “Time Waits For No Slave”.

Sionism = Nazism... ND fuck off... \\\\\\\\\\ Napalm Death : Playing in Israel is Supporting Apartheid \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ You played for this. "Israel’s domination of Palestinian amounts to apartheid. After two days of hearings, the jury of the Russell Tribunal on Palestine published its final statement, concluding that “Israel subjects the Palestinian people to an institutionalized regime of domination amounting to apartheid as defined under international law.”

Utilitarian is the best album of the year so far in my opinion. Really brutal and also a bit experimental and melodic. I really love the saxophone on Everyday Pox by John Zorn! :D And they should do more clean vocals!
