Naofumi Hataya and Masafumi Ogata composed the soundtrack for the Japanese version of the 1993 videogame "Sonic CD" for the Sega CD. Their music was also used in the European release of the game, whereas the American version had a new soundtrack composed by Spencer Nilsen.
