15 Dec 2011, 12:55 by Toastfarmer20. Bitch Prefect | Marilyn Monroe 7”
This was a confusing release that initially offered Sunday and Bad Decisions as free downloadable tracks under the banner of the Bitch Prefect EP. The physical 7” only carries Marilyn Monroe and Holiday In America. Actually getting all four tracks together in the same format, which would ostensibly be the true Bitch Prefect EP, is seemingly impossible. What is this I don’t even.
19. The Townhouses | Backyard (digital single)
Digitally released for a modest fee, this is a lovely pair of tracks from Melbourne act The Townhouses. The vocal sample used in Backyard is especially soothing.
18. Forest Swords | Fjree Feather EP
Six early Forest Sword tracks which were originally thrown on the extended second version of the Dagger Paths EP, which I don’t have. Though this isn’t as good as Dagger Paths, it’s still a pretty badass demonstration of Forest Swords’ unique, dub-oriented take on psych.
17. Inga Copeland | Inga Copeland EP

3 Mar 2011, 23:38 by PerverzionBefore Spring-2011 finally reigns let’s take a nostalgic look back at some swell 2010 songs for one last time.
During the last year I’ve listened to over 250 albums. And God knows how many new songs overall. But still, most of even Pitchfork list is still an unheard mystery to me.
I guess this list may look conciderably weird. Consisted mostly of popular songs with some drops of country and noise... Yes, indeed it is weird. But I can’t help it – I tried pretty hard and this is what I came up with. Moreover, I feel really strong about this – if I die today, burn a CD with these songs with me in the crematory.
Sorry for writing all of this in English (or something that resembles English). All of these songs are in English. I stopped thinking about them in Ukrainian a while ago. Besides, my thoughts aren’t that deep, so my poor English vocabulary should cover it.

My tinnitus is on the up and it doesn't look like it's going to stop, which is a great shame. I've lost count of the amount of times i've said to myself "You know kid, all these gigs and long walks through the woods at night, listening to Wolf Eyes full blast. They're gonna catch up with you're ears one day and you'll be stuck listening to feedback and screeching tape loops forever". Or something to that affect anyway, either way i didn't heed my own advise. Paul Simon once said "A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest" and it looks like the smug little bastard was right.
Anyone who suffers badly with tinnitus will know how much of a drag it can be. Sleepless nights, difficulty understanding conversations within a group of people, wincing at car stereos and small speakers being tipped over the '5' or '6' volume level. Like the ringing, the list goes on. …
