decent - Instinct is still their best - and agreed with Jureiko - the least black metal moments are the most interesting.

They are really boring as a black metal band. I think all their coolest songs are the ones that have the least bm going on. Also doomsday derelicts, that EP is fucking insane.

@Gurzociurlo Black Meddle 1 and 2 are great albums. I completely agree with you about their other stuff though. Just boring, fuzzy music.

I don't care about Blake, I love them since Demise.

Wow, how... bland? There's nothing amazing about this, and I usually stand high amounts of boredom! I will give them another try, but I don't think I'll change my mind...

The English wikipedia page of that band doesn't seem to mention it, but in a certain other language, the page mentions that a member of the band their ripped fans off by selling merch and never delivering it to feed drug addiction.

V that's why I personally don't care about their personalities that much. Wrest, for example, was raping his ex with a tattoo gun, but his music is still amazing, isn't it? can't really give a good advice on similarity, but these few bands are quite unique if u like experimental black metal - Aluk Todolo, Yoga and Menace Ruine. I was also impressed with these guys recently - Sutekh Hexen. All of them are worthy really.. well if u're not a greedy scumbag like me. I've copped some yoga and aluk todolo shit though. here - classics

I've been scouring to find good experimental or psychadelic black metal, and I was really pleased when I found these guys. Now I'm extremely disappointed to hear what a cunt this lead singer seems to be. Can anyone steer me in the direction of a band with similar sound (I also dig Locrian and Altar of Plagues) whose bandmembers are more worthy of support?

The album is called "The World We Left Behind" and will be released in spring next year. Before that a 10" split E.P. will also be released.

Just because Burzum has a few different views about the world doesn't make him an idiot.
