Biography
NOKO is a Polish hard-rock heavy band from Warsaw. It was founded in the turn of 2004 and 2005 from former musisians of Noconcreto with the drummer TOMASZ „RADOM” RADOMSKI and guitarist MICHAŁ „MAŁY” PERKOWSKI. Later on two additional musicians join the band: MICHAL „JURGEN” JAROSZEWICZ (vocals, prev. Big Tuna) and MICHAL „MAJK” ZYBERT (bass, prev. Hedfirst and Antigama).
The debut takes place in June 2008 during the 10th anniversary of iM Rock Scena. In the beginning of 2009, via their myspace profile the band was found by P…O.D.’s guitarist and a producer Marcos Curiel, who is in favour for becoming the producer of their debut album. From that moment the band was lloking for the publisher.
In 2011 NOKO takes part in Polish edition of TV show for young bands “Must be the music”. They reach the final and score the second position, which taking into consideration hard rock type of music which is not popular in Poland is a tremendous success. In Juny 2012 they released their debut album Noko.
