Noteworthy for the contribution of a punk chick voice that seems to be mistaken for many different punk female vocalists and leads (a notary example: ‘Dude, that chick sings for Tilt…” which I bought for years until researching for myself recently…) this track from “Punk in Drublic” features none other than Kim Shattuck of the Muffs.

And none of this argument even matters. All agree that whoever it is, she has the crustiest femal gutterpunk vocals to ever be recorded and released to the public. Now, who knows what’s out there yet undiscovered and therefore impossible to compare to.

Note: On my word, upon finding a dirtier and punk-iconic female voice to challenge this entry, I will immediately revise my claims to accomodate all new information brought to light.
