Saint-Petersburg, Russia (2004 – present)

NEVERSMILE is four-piece mall emo / alternative rock band hailing from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. The band was formed in fall of 2004. They cite their influences from other bands such as Glassjaw, The Used, Deftones, Head Automatica, Underoath and some other american pop-punk and metal bands.

Experimenting with all these styles NEVERSMILE also pay a lot of attention to pop hooks and catchy melodies.

NEVERSMILE has tours with the best russian alternative bands, such as Amatory, Jane Air, Tracktor Bowling, 7 Раса, Breakwar, played on the biggest open-air fests and TV shows.

In early 2006 the band recorded a debut EP “Milliardy minut” (Billions minutes), which consists of 5 tracks, and already in september 2006 released self titled album, that has included 10 tracks.
