Thanks for the tips, vflykt! I know the dead weather, but I don't really like them, dunno why (I like Jack White's other projects much more). However Dag för dag sound very promising so far - Hands and knees does a good job in delivering a similar atmosphere as MGM often does :). sadly those guys only have one album, too, so I guess I'll be on the search some more..

Downloadable at their bandcamp website. Other question: Does anyone know really similar artists like My Gold Mask? I mean with an aggressive yet dreamy overall sound, slamming drums and guitars and a voice like Gretta's? Last.fm's similar artists are nothing like MGM, neither are the often mentiones Siouxie and the banshees... Thanks!
