Version 4

My Girl Friday is a Pop/Rock band from Phoenix, AZ consisting of: Justin Godsey (vocals), Ryan Steele (bass), Tyler Horton (guitar), and Logan Thayer (guitar). The band was formed in mid 2009 after Tyler, Ryan and Justin had written new material and were looking to form a new group. The addition Logan came after communication was established (through former drummer Josh Hollister) on online social networks such as Myspace and Youtube, and My Girl Friday was formed after a few meetings and practices. The group released a digital release EP titled “Livin’ Off The Party Scene” on 2/10/10 but was already working hard on writing their debut EP release titled “We Are…”, which was released on 5/4/10 with tremendous success. The boys strive to network themselves as much as possible through online social sites such as Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace. After building hype and buzz throughout Arizona through local shows, in-store performances etc, the next step is hitting the road and getting their music out to and even larger crowd throughout the country.

Their EP’s “Livin’ Off The Party Scene” and “We Are…” were recorded at Studio Valor with Dan Parker (A Change of Pace). A third Self-Titled EP is expected to be released in early October, also recorded at Studio Valor.

Former Member: Josh Hollister (Drums)
