I can't believe people are STILL arguing over the whole "who stoole who's masks" thing. Frankly, it's pathetic. Do some research before you start posting around accusations. Slipknot were wearing masks when they were playing in their little basement during the recording of Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat, years before they even heard of Mushroomhead. Mushroomhead were wearing masks since the beginning of their career too; about the only common thing here is the "pig" mask, but that's a common horror mask anyway.

it may not be the most heaviest or brutal (obviously) but it's something different, i find them to be a pretty unique band despite the naysayers. i've listened to all their albums, there are some boring filler songs but theres also some really creative songs that can't be ignored. i don't see why ppl always get pissed about genre mixtures, not always a bad thing.

2 years before slipknot and in different states and FYI GWAR WORE MASKS AND OUTFITS IN THE LATE 80'S BEFORE SLIPKNOT OR MUSHROOMHEAD AND SLIPKNOT AND MUSHROOMHEAD SOUND NOTHING ALIKE SO THERE IS NO WAY EITHER ONE COPIED THE OTHER!

Alright people get your facts straight. Mushroomhead came first. They denyed joining a record label. Slipknot took the deal instead wore Mushroomhead's mask during the show they played. The gimmick was stolen by not their music. That's the only thing they have in Common.
