Apocalypse Please is the second track on Absolution. The track features a heavy pounding drum loop, with a striking bass line and heavy piano chords. It featured very often in the ‘Absolution Tour’ either has a mid-way staple or an opener. The track is often regarded as setting the theme for the overall album.

So...it's Muse vs. Radiohead. What everybody's talking about. Radiohead IS one of my favorite bands. This song was my first listen to Muse. Even though this was my first Muse song I ever listened to, Muse is WAY better than Radiohead. Radiohead's song The National Anthem is Radiohead's only really rock album. But the only thing rock on TNA was an awesome guitar riff. This is more rocking than all of Radiohead's songs COMBINED.
