Mula Manca sings about the everyday life with elaborated lyrics composed in rhythms like samba, bossa nova and jazz. The band from Pernambuco, Northeast of Brazil, is part of the more recent Brazilian popular music scene. In 2004, MM released the debut album O Circo da Solidão and took part on the well known Brazilian music festival Abril Pro Rock. 2005 was a very special year as the band released the videoclip “Irene” (Best Independent Video at Gramado Film Festival). Mula Manca also toured around some Brazilian capitals and were seen on several TV shows, like “Banda Antes” on the Brazilian MTV. In January 2007 Mula Manca released their 2nd album: Amor e Pastel, by Salazarte Record Label. The band is also going to do their fist European Tour.
