Avant-garde metal band founded by Dan Burnette, under the alias Stubb Stevenson during the summer of 2011 in his home town Tinley Park, Illinois. The first demo Mr. Fizz was released July 15, 2011. The follow up demo IOUsex was intended for release October 19, 2012, but because of timing and broken equipment, it was pushed back to multiple times and still remains unreleased. After realizing that he didn't have the time for the project he released a posthumous remixed version of the song Blackened Eye for the Congrats, We've Made It; 2013 in January, 2013.
In March 2014 Dan went back and decided to revive the project and complete the long unreleased second demo. It is currently scheduled for release sometime in 2016/17. Also to promote it he remixed the first demo to Mr. Fizz (Cassette Tape Mixes) and released it April 1st, 2014. The project's first release in Just under 3 years. It also was mixed to resemble more closely the original sound for the demo.
In October 2015 the possibility of a Stubb Stevenson solo album was announced. While there is no scheduled date, it wouldn't be out until at least Fall 2016. Then on June 14th, 2016 in the liner notes for the label compilation, Stubb stated the project "hasn't copletley died… even thought it actually has, if were being honest". While it's very clear there is no future plans for the group, there is still a plan to release IOUsex some day.
