surely, strange tags. for me, they're metalcore with some keyboards, just like bleeding through but more accessible

Strange tags. Post hardcore? Screamo? Hardcore? for a band that mixes Metalcore with Industrial...

Chris' clean vocals now sound like he's trying to be Breaking Benjamin's frontman, and of course he's still doing the Marilyn Manson thing. It's overall a very odd album to say the least.

Seriously, you could take that exact same argument and turn it around to be about how When Love Met Destruction and Creatures are crap (they aren't, they're both great but bear with me here) since they were using an established sound (breakdown and synth heavy metalcore) that was already cemented by bands like The Devil Wears Prada and Sky Eats Airplane.

When Love Met Destruction is also a masterpiece, I find it hard to accept the same band is now almost generic and lazy, wanting to be "the next" marilyn manson or "the next " slipknot is always a bad idea because those bands exist and people don't accept they can't be as good as other bands because that "sound" is already cemented in and established, like no one can make another album like Creatures/WLMD because the same way of thinking to apply the music is different which affects the results, thats why im rightly annoyed when the original band changes style, and id happily eat up 3 more albums that were a continuation of creatures or WLMD

If you think Creatures was good go listen to the extended version of When Love Met Destruction, that was their ultimate golden days. Songs like Billy In 4C Never Saw It Coming and Whatever You Do... Don't Push The Red Button

@Lextasys: Don't take anything JamesPhillips70 says seriously, he's a closed-minded entitled crybaby whose butt is always ruptured.

Simply It does not matter what they play if you like it you do, if you do then you do. the band can´t bow to few fans who want it to be something that they are not. Peoples anyway these days try too much prove something to others, in otherwords actually nobody really is not right in these things but try to raise their opinion above the other. Anyhow it sort of feels like its in deep of human´s natural nature to label/to be more right than the other, sort of almost same as ignorance, they talk without knowing the whole idea but still think they are more right than the other. Anyhow I think it´s not needed to tell more.

No, they aren't the same band as Creatures, they've evolved and "Reincarnated" themselves into their true potential, making a sound distinctly of their own, regardless of what people think or the music trends of current day. MIW is doing something that has needed to be done for a long time, and as every other band sounds more and more redundant and exactly like every other band, this band are taking the first step, not afraid what the crowd thinks, and being music artists as opposed to music "players". Bravo boys, well done. Their albums are getting better and better.
