took me years to get into this one, really like it now. not a fan of the album but his voice is better than ever on maladjusted i'd say.

"with my hands on my head I flop on your bed" - there's another one!

"jeer the lights in the windows of all safe and stable homes" + "you stalk the house in a low-cut blouse... oh Christ, another stifled Friday night!" in my opinion these are two of the best lines he's ever written.

I will say it loudly and clearly: I am only on the side of Those of Us who insist this is the Best Song our glorious leader has ever created, thus far. Oh yes. I would flop on his bed, given half a chance.

The last good track he wrote. Sigh. Give it up Morrissey you always said you'd retire at 50.

Musically too it is very interesting; in fact, that is what has always struck me most about this track.. That is one constant about Morrissey: he really surrounds himself with unusually creative musicians.

This is my favourite Morrissey song, perhaps alongside with Jack the Ripper. It also has my favourite Morrissey line ever, "keep thieves hours with someone like you"... and perhaps why I'm so obsessed with girls from SW6...
