"no one was still ever close to write something like what these guys do" — now we have Finsterforst who proved me wrong and Moonsorrow also wrote Huuto but still I think this is their best composition.

Aloin kaivata syksyä, vaikka on kevät [2] I love how the atmosphere of the song fits so well the lyrics, it always makes me imagine a pitch black woods whenever listening to this. A true masterpiece, like everything on Verisäkeet.

This is an absolutely amazing song. One of my top 10 favorites ever for sure. I also quite like the fact that they made it obvious that this track was hugely inspired by Burzum, considering that Burzum means "darkness" and the name of this song translates to "darkness" in Finnish ;)

The whole song is just so damn beautiful. It's still pretty the much the best thing they have ever done.

@soothingtrance You're right. Moonsorrow is calling that the "Burzum Synth" also. They used it in Hävitetty and VKKM, too.

Some years ago I've listened to much more folk metal than nowadays, but everytime I return to this masterpiece, have to recognize that this is still one of the best songs ever made. Have someone recognized the Dunkelheit like synth (around 5:30)?
